Mia Doi Todd’s new video for Open Your Heart is by Michel Gondry. Surely that is enough information to watch it.

The colours in this are just beautiful, and they only get better as the clip goes on. How he thinks of this stuff I’ll never know, but i hope he keeps doing it for a long time.

Check it out.

P.S. watch for the bloke that gets a little dizzy at the end.

Here is the new clip for Beach House’s Silver Soul.

This is an interesting one, not usually my kind of clip, but I found it really engaging once i learned that i was directed by Victoria Legrand. She is one half of the band.

It makes me wonder if metalic hula hoop women could be a metaphore… i’m not sure what it would be… maybe that’s why it’s got me interested. Eitherway, metalic hula hoops aint that bad!

Check it out.

I’m not too sure why i’ve been missing out on The Big Pink but I’m glad their in my life now. Here is the video for their tune Dominoes directed by Tim Saccenti.

It’s got some great colour to the whole thing and it’s one of the more interesting ‘band playing music’ kind of videos around at the moment. Yes I know, slow motion is getting a bit old, it still looks awesome though.

Check it out.

Here’s the clip for Crystalised by The xx. It’s directed by Alex Flick and Masato Riesser.

Maybe it’s just because I’m really digging these guys at the moment, I think I’m a little behind, but this clip is really doing it for me. The whole tone and themes suit it perfectly.

So watch this clip, then go get this album.

“What the hell is The Phenomenal Handclap Band?” They do that song with the numbers you can’t get out of your head. The clip is directed by Moh Azima, and has some pretty cool styles.

It’s a bit of a flashback to some techniques that were once overdone, everything old is new again! It’s pulled off pretty well and the retro film look is cool.
