This is all kinda of wonderful, it’s the new clip for Ratatat by Blink and Colonel Blimp.
It seems that they collected a series of infomercial auditions and cut them together. I suspect something more planned as they all have the same light treatment and background.

It’s a pretty literal translation of the song but a not an idea i’ve seen before. Keith Schofield is quickly becoming one of my favorite directors of late. I can’t imaging what will happen when he transitions over to feature length productions.

Finally the video for Maximum Balloon is out! (and i didn’t realise for a good 10 days…)
It’s directed by Andrew Huang and is full of, you guess it, balloons.
If their music and videos stay at this quality I might even stop referring to Maximum Ballon as “the guy from TV on the Radio’s new band”
This video looks like it would have been quite a bit of fun to make, though probably not as fun as the one for Esquire…
This is a pretty great flashback to some memories of what after school tv could have been like if it was more awesome.
