Metronomy, possibly the biggest hipster band right now (and one of my favorites), have a new video out for The Look.
It’s directed by Lorenzo Fonda and involves some serious seagull love affair action. It’s beautifully animated and well shot. half the band will be giving you “the look look” while the other two seem to be giving one of the film crew “the look look” which I found a little disturbing but maybe that’s just me.

This is one of best ads I’ve seen this year and I’m over the moon that it’s for a good cause. The ad is by Leo Burnett for Earth Hour (8.30pm, Saturday 26 March).
Great sense of humor and it gives a great mock reason for you to turn off your lights for Earth Hour.

Check out this video directed by Vini Nascimento of Tendril.
It’s part of a “visual manifesto” that tendril is working on. The idea being that different people from the studio come up with a concept which is then executed by everyone. The different works will make sense by themselves but the final collection will be a statement of who they are as a studio. Great way to keep the creative juices flowing.
