Scribe – Mundo De Papel

No it’s not the latest video clip by that kiwi guy, it’s an ad for sketch books by Cru de Ladies.

Nice concept, I like some of the smaller details like the coffee pot has the coffee drawn on it and as it’s tipped you can see it move.

I wonder how much was actually constructed… Check it out.

Now this is some impressive work from Urbanscreen. (full credits after the break)

I’ve seen a few projects recently of people projecting onto buildings and urban environments. This one takes it to a whole new level, some amazing work in here.

The projections are seamless with the building, it’s hard to pick it even when you know what is going on. They picked the perfect building for it with that strong grid layout already part of the architecture.

I can’t say much more than just to watch it and enjoy. It’s got to be seen to be believed.

Mourning Sons at Public Bar

I finally got around to posting up these shots I took of The Mourning Sons at Public Bar.

It was a good show, they had plenty of energy and on such a small stage it was easy to catch some nice interaction between the band.

Check them out after the break.

Phonat – Set Me Free

Check out this clip for Phonat by Two Things.

I’m really digging the style of this one. There are a few things out there looking like this but it’s a great example of it done well. I’m all about the colours and shapes at the moment, perhaps because I’m redoing my VJ set… So this probably added to my excitement when I see a clip like this.

I assume the figure in it is the man behind the music. It’s a nice way to incorporate him into the video without it taking over.

Worth a look or two.
